Our bodies are far more complex, and no ingredient can create the same kind of shield around us. Yet the principle still offers a useful reminder.

The right conclusion is not that astaxanthin is ineffective, nor that it is miraculous. It is a promising, well-tolerated carotenoid that may provide targeted support when used responsibly.

Choose a clearly sourced product, follow the recommended dose, take it with food and place it where it belongs: alongside nourishing food, movement, sleep, sun protection and appropriate healthcare.
